| First a persistent hacker,
who insisted on translating our discussions into Turkish - a lovely
language, I am sure, but unfamiliar to most... and now a flood of smut and
pills: every day these past weeks, I had to sift through at least two dozen
new account applications, placed for the sole purpose of boosting the google
ratings of sites peddling sex, pills and cigarettes. Not through my website
you don't! Since real discussions about board
repair on my forum are few and far between, and since many of you in the
past have contacted me directly with your questions anyway, I have decided
to freeze the forum for now, and opt instead for an expanded "faq" section.
As time permits, I will incorporate your more universally interesting posts
into the faq page, and add new ones as they come in.
The original forum, decontaminated and back to
English, is archived on my computer, as is the new one, minus the filthy
references in the memberlist. Maybe, when better controls are available to
prevent abuse, I will be able to reactivate them.
