Wipe-Out

Mast slam on tip of nose caused rail to depress enough to transmit the forces to the bottom
This means that everything between point of impact and bottom was displaced in the bargain
Best, then, to start all over!
New piece of Divinycell glued on, feathered out, shaped and filled
New nose glassed over. Multiple layers of 4oz cloth are much more easily manipulated to conform to this shape than a heavier cloth. No tailoring is necessary, making for a much smoother finish
A couple of strips of extra glass added to the impact zone
Primed, painted, the design touched up (a bit of sponge dipped into Acrylic paint), non-skid touched up, and

Ta-da!
